The steamer chair originated from being used on the decks of ocean liners, hence it is often referred to as the original deck chair. Stained oiled and gently rubbed down by hand, the finish is a delight and matches Plant Theatres Adirondack Chair, Tables and Bistro Set ranges. Furthermore, no assembly is required you can unfold it straight form the box. Made from Hardwood Acacia from sustainable sources. We recommend treating with teak oil twice a year to keep it in tip top condition, or if left untreated and to outside elements the chair will eventually turn an aged silver colour, which some people prefer as an aged look.
