A wall mount is not to adapt to a diagonal but rather so-called to the VESA standard (distance between screws). Each wall mount has a VESA standard / distance between screws.
Only if the distance of the holes of the fixation of your TV is supported from the wall mount and the TV weighs less than the counterweight of the wall bracket, the wall mount is suitable.
