Description
The Anapo Side Table was designed by Gordon Guillaumier for Italian furniture label Driade.
Guillaumier was educated in Malta, England, Italy and Switzerland before studying design at the IED in Milan, graduating in 1991. He completed a postgraduate course at the Domus academy in Milan in 1992 and took an apprenticeship with Baleri Associati the following year in which he also collaborated with the architect Rodolfo Dordoni. Guillaumier started his own design studio in Milan in 2002. He initially worked on product design before becoming sought after for his design consultancy skills. Today, he continues to design for international furniture companies. His design aesthetic is refined, simple and timeless yet forward-thinking.
The strikingly stylish Anapo Side Table contrasts dark and light as well as traditional and futuristic design concepts for a contemporary style that works well with any interior space. Stand-out points of the table include its minimalist black strut supports and grained chestnut tabletop surface. With dimensions of 50cm wide, 52cm high and 38cm deep, the side table is ideal for placing beside sofas to act as a place to rest drinks and books or in the hallway as a useful storage solution for keys and memo notes.
