Inspiring Furniture LTD Driftwood Style Teak Flute Root Dining Table – with 150cm circular glass top

Description

We have expanded our range of stunning Teak Root Dining Tables with these charming Flute style roots. The outer part of the root has a beautiful bleached effect that contrasts beautifully with the natural golden teak flute bowl. Sustainable yet extremely solid and strong flute style roots. As always each root is unique as the sculptured root base is sourced from the National Indonesian Eco Programme. Without the excavation of these roots the ground is deemed unusable for further plantation. By removing these roots and crafting them int beautiful tables and sculptures local communities gain valuable livelihoods and sustainable forests are planted The glass we use is toughened safety glass and is therefore extremely heavy. It simply rests on top of the root and is supported very safely by the structure of the root base underneath. If required, we can provide small plastic dots or suckers to place between the glass and the root to add some extra friction and peace of mind, but most people find these are not necessary and that they detract from the natural look of the table. This teak root table is extremely similar to the new kitchen table displayed on Saturday Kitchen used by James Martin the BBC chef
